וַיַּ֗רְא כִּ֣י לֹ֤א יָכֹל֙ ל֔וֹ וַיִּגַּ֖ע בְּכַף־יְרֵכ֑וֹ וַתֵּ֙קַע֙ כַּף־יֶ֣רֶךְ יַעֲקֹ֔ב בְּהֵֽאָבְק֖וֹ עִמּֽוֹ׃
Als er sah, dass er ihm nicht beikommen konnte, fasste er ihn an dem Hüftballen, so dass der Hüftballen Jakobs bei dem Ringen verrenkt wurde.
Targum Jonathan on Genesis
And he saw that he had not power to hurt him, and he touched the hollow of his thigh, and the hollow of Jakob's thigh was distorted in his contending with him.

And the hollow of Jakob's thigh was displaced in contending with him.
